What We Do And How We Can Help

By Eric Chetwood, CFP®

Retirement is arguably one of life’s most significant milestones. But with so many moving pieces, unforeseen circumstances, and questions about health, longevity, and the economy,  how do you plan for the final decades of your life in a way that gives you confidence, not worry? In other words, how can you dream big and plan accordingly so all your bases are covered?

Those are legitimate concerns, and the reason Adams Chetwood Wealth Management exists. We walk you through all of life’s transitions and make sure that every part of your life that money touches—finances, emotions, relationships, spirituality—is taken care of along the way.

What We Do

It’s usually easy to see what you’re retiring from. You’ve worked for many years, saving, sacrificing, and giving yourself to your career. That’s why many people think of retirement as closing a chapter. But we believe it is just as important to know what you are retiring toward as it is to know what you are retiring from.

We help you develop a comprehensive financial plan so you can retire with financial peace of mind, analyzing income projections, securing your estate plan, minimizing your taxes, and making sure everything is in place so you can transition to your golden years with ease. Our team acts as your CFO, proactively coordinating the many logistical aspects of your retirement and working with your other professionals so you can reap the rewards of a long and successful career.

How We Work

That’s the big picture. We make it a reality with our client-centered approach that focuses on your life and your goals. Our process simplifies and organizes, performs rigorous portfolio stress tests, analyzes your retirement savings, and designs a customized financial plan based on your dreams and values. In all we do, we strive to empower and inform you so that you can make decisions with confidence.

Who We Serve

We want to excel in what we do because retirement is too important to gamble with. That’s why we tailor our services and expertise to a specific group of people: pre-retirees and retirees in the retirement red zone (5 years before and and 5 years after your retirement) with $1 million to $15 million in investable assets. Our clients value transparency, quality, and wisdom, and want to partner with someone who can help them manage their money so they can experience a stress-free retirement. On top of that, they tend to be charitably inclined and prioritize their family, desiring to pass on their values and create a legacy. If that’s you, keep reading!

What Makes Us Unique

What it comes down to is this: we know our clients and care about them as individuals. Our clients are not numbers on a spreadsheet—they are people with whom we have long-term relationships and who we want to see succeed in all areas of life. We know what’s important to you, understand your beliefs and goals, and are committed to giving you independent, objective, honest advice so you can achieve those goals. We make your financial life easier and are here for you no matter what life throws your way.
